Cookies from Dr. Pelletier’s Class

This last year I’ve been helping out with a class taught by Tony Pelletier down at the Bishop’s School in La Jolla. He teaches a high school course on biotechnology and I’ve provided him and his kids with reagents and a mutagenesis/cloning strategy. His kids are very bright and apparently fairly clever as well. The other day Tony (or “Doc” as he is known to his kids) paid me a visit at the cancer center and gave me a few of his students’ recent creations. They were quite delicious too! Notice the pipet and the DNA gel.
